The Science Museum is a constituent piece of the National Board of Science Historical centre, a self-sufficient body under the Service of Culture. Since its opening, Center is providing unprecedented services for the popularity of science among individuals. Various academic programs and interesting exhibitions are organized by the Science museum for the benefit of students, teachers and people interested in science. It provides teacher training to support education at school as well as at college level.

There are eight levels in the building of the National Science Museum with seven exhibitions and a few different segments for all age gatherings. It additionally provides a library, a planetarium, a cafeteria, meeting corridors and a cyber school which provides short-term courses for students as well as teachers. The building of science museum is fully equipped and fully air-conditioned. An auditorium, which can accommodate up to 320 individuals at a moment. This hall of science museum can also be used by different associations at a nominal charge.

  • 10.00 A.M to 05.30 P.M with half an hour lunch break from 01.00 to 01.30 P.M.
  •  All 2nd Saturdays are holiday for office.
  •  Public Dealing Hours- 03.00 PM to 04.30 PM.
  •  Galleries remain open on all days from 10.00 AM to 05.30PM except on Holi& Diwali 

Entry Fees for Science Museum:

  • Students (Organised School Group) - Rs. 20 per head
  • 3D Film Ticket:  Rs. 25 for adults and Rs. 20 for children
